| (1) With effect from such date as may be appointed by the Minister by Order published in the Gazette, there shall be established a Board which shall be called the National Apprenticeship Board (hereinafter referred to as " the Board ") and which shall consist of the persons who are for the time being members of the Board under this Part. |

| (2) The Board shall by the name assigned to it by sub-section (1) be a body corporate and shall have perpetual succession and a common seal and may sue and be sued in such name. |
