5. The Town Councils Ordinance is hereby amended as follows: -
| (1) in section 57, by the substitution for paragraph (3) thereof, of the following paragraph: -
| | " (3) to paint up the names of streets and the numbers of houses or tenements on any private property; and | | |

| (2) by the insertion, immediately after section 57, of the following new section which shall have effect as section 57A: -
| | 57A. The Minister shall, either of his own motion or on application made in that behalf by a Town Council, determine the name by which any street shall be known and in like manner at any time alter the name of any street." | | |
