Official Languages Commission Act (No. 18 of 1991) - Sect 25

Application to be made to the High Court of the Province in certain circumstances

25.
(1) Where a person has made a complaint to the Commission under this Act and the Commission has in a report made recommendations under subsection (5) of section 23 in relation to such complaint and the head of the public institution concerned has not given effect to such recommendations within a period of ninety days on receipt by him of such report, then such person or the Commissioner of the Official Languages Department, after informing the Attorney-General in writing, may apply within ninety days of the expiry of the period within which the recommendations were required to be given effect to, for a direction, under section 27, to the High Court established under Article 154P of the Constitution for the Province in which the person making the complaint resides.
(2) Every such application shall be made by petition in writing addressed to such High Court and shall be heard and determined in accordance with the procedure laid down in Chapter XXIV of the Civil Procedure Code,
