Parliamentary Commissioner For Administration Act (No. 17 of 1981) - Sect 22

Rules

22.
(1) The Minister may in consultation with the Ombudsman, make rules in respect of the costs of travelling and other expenses which may have been reasonably incurred by any witness appearing before the Ombudsman.
(2) Every rule made by the Minister under subsection (1) shall he published in the Gazette and shall come into liberation on the date of its publication in the Gazette or on such later date as may be specified in that rule.
(3) Every rule made by the Minister under subsection (1) shall, as soon as convenient after its publication in the Gazette, be brought before Parliament for approval. Any such rule which is not so approved shall be deemed to be rescinded as from the date of disapproval but without prejudice to anything previously done thereunder. Notification of the date on which a rule is so deemed to be rescinded shall be published in the Gazette.
