Parliament Elections Act (No. 1 of 1981) - Sect 65

Procedure where a recognized political party exercises right to change order of priority in the nomination paper

65.
(1) Where a recognized political party has exercised its right in pursuance of paragraph (12) of Article 99 of the Constitution, it shall be the duty of the secretary of such party to inform the Commissioner in such form as may be determined by the Commissioner, that such party has exercised such right.
(2) Upon receipt of such information, the Commissioner shall forthwith direct the returning officer of the electoral district to amend the nomination paper in the manner specified in such direction.
