Pirivena Education Act (No. 64 of 1979) - Sect 12

The situation and management of Pirivenas

12.
(1) A Mulika Pirivena and a Maha Pirivena may be held within the same premises and under the same management.
(2) A Pirivena Vidyayathanaya shall not be held within the premises of a Mulika Pirivena or a Maha Pirivena or under the same management as a Mulika Pirivena or a Maha Pirivena.
