Pirivena Education Act (No. 64 of 1979) - Sect 16

Members not to receive remuneration

16. The members of the Advisory Committee referred to in section 15 shall not be entitled to any remuneration : Provided, however, that the Minister may, in consultation with the Minister in charge of the subject of Finance, pay an allowance to such members if he considers it expedient to do so.
