Paddy Marketing Board Act (No. 14 of 1971) - Sect 8

From whom the Board or authorized purchaser may purchase paddy

8.
(1) The Board shall not purchase paddy from any person other than from an authorized purchaser or a producer of such paddy.
(2) An authorized purchaser under paragraph (a) of sub-section (6) of section 4, shall not purchase paddy from any person other than the producer of such paddy or purchase paddy and rice from any person other than the authorized purchaser under paragraph (b) of sub-section (6) of section 4.
