| 218. Any officer of a Pradeshiya Sabha who, under pretence of performing any act under the authority of this Act, or any by-law or rule made thereunder, uses any unnecessary violence or causes any vexation or annoyance to any person, shall be guilty of an offence and liable on conviction thereof after summary trial before a Magistrate to a fine not exceeding five hundred rupees. |
