General objects of the Corporation

3. The general objects for which the Corporation is constituted are hereby declared to be"
(a) to advance the physical, spiritual, economic, cultural and social welfare of its members ;
(b) to promote the welfare of the children of Batapola by establishing Montessori Schools and Dhamma Schools and by granting scholarships to deserving students; and
(c) to promote unity and co-operation among the people in Batapola.
