Regulated Equipment for Agricultural Projects (Special Provisions) Act (No. 26 of 1971) - Sect 2

Motor vehicles, agricultural plants, machinery and equipment to which this Act is applicable

(1) The provisions of this Act shall apply to any motor vehicle, agricultural plant, machinery or equipment (in this Act referred to as a " regulated equipment ") imported by any person under the authority of an import licence issued to such person on or after January 1, 1965, upon the recommendation of an officer authorized by the competent authority, on an application made by such person that such regulated equipment is necessary in connection with or for the purposes of any agricultural project.
(2) The person in whose favour the import licence was issued is hereinafter referred to as the " owner ".
