| 2. From and after the appointed date no person shall carry on the business of a Private Security Agency except under the authority of, and otherwise than in accordance with the terms and conditions of, a licence issued in that behalf under the provisions of this Act: Provided that any person who prior to the appointed date was carrying on the business of a Private Security Agency may continue to do so for a period of six months from such date, but shall within such period apply for registration, and obtain a licence under the provisions of this Act. |
