9. Section 27 of the principal enactment is hereby repealed and the following section substituted therefor:-

After the date specified in the order under section 4 as the date from which contributions to the sinking fund for any loan shall commence, there shall for each period ending with the date specified in that order for the payment of interest on any stock or securities issued in respect of that loan, be appropriated out of the consolidated fund and assets of sri Lanka a sum determined in accordance with the rate specified in the order as the contribution to the sinking fund established for the purpose of redeeming that loan". |
