Survey Act (No. 17 of 2002) - Sect 65

Regulations

65.
(1) The Minister may make regulations in respect of any matter by this part to be prescribed or in respect of which regulations are authorised by this part to be made.
(2) Without prejudice to the generality of the powers conferred under subsection (1) the Minister may make regulations in respect of all or any of the following matters;-
(i) the forms and method of keeping registers required under this Part ;
(ii) the forms, applications, certificates and other documents required to be prescribed under this Act ;
(iii) the course of study and training required to be followed by a surveyor desirous of obtaining an Annual Practicing Licence ;
(iv) guidelines to registered land surveyors in respect of professional practice.
(3) Every regulation made by the Minister shall be published in the Gazette and shall come into operation or on such later date as may be specified in such regulation.
(4) Every regulation made by the Minister shall within a period of six months from the date of its publication in the Gazette be brought before Parliament for approval ;Any regulation, which is not so approved shall be deemed to be rescinded as from the date of such disapproved but without prejudice to anything previously done thereunder.
(5) Notification of the date on which any regulation made by the Minister is deemed to be rescinded shall be published in the Gazette.
