Sri Lanka Institute Of Local Governance Act (No. 31 of 1999) - Sect 24

Power of the Minister to give special or general directions to the Council

24.
(1) The Minister may give special or general directions in writing to the Council as to the exercise of the powers of the Institute, and the Council shall give effect to such directions.
(2) The Minister may from time to time direct the Council to furnish to him in writing such information as he may require relating to the work of the Institute.
