Sri Lanka Standards Institution Act (No. 6 of 1984) - Sect 2

Establishment of the Sri Lanka Standards Institution

2.
(1) There shall be established an Institution which shall be called the Sri Lanka Standards Institution (hereinafter referred to as "the Institution").
(2) The Institution shall by the name assigned to it by subsection (1) be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal and may sue and be sued in its corporate name.
