Sri Lanka Telecommunications Act (No. 25 of 1991) - Sect 55

Penalty for attaching anything to telecommunication line, &c

55. Every person who climbs up a telecommunication post or attaches anything to any telecommunication line, post or other apparatus without lawful authority, shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to fine not exceeding ten thousand rupees
