Sri Punyodaya Samitiya (Incorporation) Act (No. 33 of 1986) - Sect 3

General objects of the Corporation

3. The general objects for which the Corporation is constituted are hereby declared to be
(a) to provide facilities for the ordination or Bhikkhus for the propagation of the Dhamma in Sri Lanka;
(b) to educate Bhikkhus in the Dhamma and train them for the purpose of propagating the Dhamma ;
(c) to render assistance in the rehabilitation of destitute children; and
(d) to provide vocational and technical training for poor youth to enable them to secure self-employment.
