Where in an action against the company for any loss, injury or damage Incurred or caused prior to the appointed date, decree is entered against the company ordering the company to pay a sum of money to any person, such sum of money may, notwithstanding the provisions of this or any other written law, be paid to such person by the company out of the amount payable as compensation under section 4, by making deductions from such amount on a pro rata basis. |
