| 18. Notwithstanding anything in the principal enactment the Vice-Chancellor of every University established or deemed to be established under the principal enactment shall on the date of coming into operation of this section, cease to hold office as such Vice-Chancellor : Provided however any Vice-Chancellor who so ceases to hold office, shall be eligible for reappointment. |
