University Of Ceylon Act (No. 1 of 1972) - Sect 77

Transfer of other institutions to the University

77.
(1) The Minister may, by Order published in the Gazette, transfer to the University any institution, school or college, together with any movable property therein, and any immovable property of such institution, school or college may by a like Order by the Minister of Lands be vested in the University.
(2) Upon the publication of such Order the movable and immovable property of such institution, school or college shall vest in the University and the provisions of Part XII of this Act shall, mutatis mutandis, apply to the staff of such institution, school or college, with effect from the date specified in that Order.
