| 38. A Village Council may impose and levy on every licence issued by it under this Ordinance or the by-laws made or deemed by virtue of any written law to have been made thereunder, a licence duty at rates determined by the Council by resolution and not exceeding such amount as may be specified by the Minister by Order published in the Gazette. |
