GAMING ACT (CAP. 400)
Gaming Act (Amendment) Regulations, 2006
IN exercise of the powers conferred by articles 30, 40, and 50 of the Gaming Act, the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, with the concurrence of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Justice and Home Affairs, and acting on the advice of the Lotteries and Gaming Authority, has made the following regulations>–

Citation.

Substitutes regulation 44 of the principal regulations.

1. The title of these regulations is the Gaming Act (Amendment) Regulations, 2006 and they shall be read and construed as one with the Gaming Act Regulations, 1998, hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”.
2. For regulation 44 of the principal regulations, there shall be substituted the following>

Cap. 373.

“Application of regulations for the prevention of money laundering.

44. Any regulations for the prevention of money laundering and the funding of terrorism as may issued from time to time in terms of article 12 (1) of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, shall be applicable to casino licensees to the extent as shall be determined by such regulations.”.

Deletes regulations

45 to 51

of the principal regulations.

3. Regulations 45 to 51, both inclusive, of the principal regulations shall be deleted.
