REVERSION OF CERTAIN LANDS ACT, 2001 (ACT NO. XVII OF 2001)Reversion of Certain Lands (No. 2) Order, 2003

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 3(1) of the Reversion of Certain Lands Act, 2001 the Minister for Home Affairs and the Environment has made the following order:-

1. The title of this Order is the Reversion of Certain Lands (No.2) Order, 2003.

2. The property specified in article 3 of this Order shall revert to the person or persons to whom the land belonged, by whatsoever title, as if the acquisition by virtue of article 5 of the Building Development Areas Act, Chapter 303, had never taken place with effect from the 18th June, 1985, on which date the land in question was acquired by Government in virtue of the said article.

3. The property to which article 2 of this Order refers is the following, that is to say:

(i) Three divided portions of the same land at St. Julians limits of Pembroke namely, plot 1 of area of circa 1,443 square metres, plot 2 of area of circa 1,144 square metres and plot 3 of area of circa 531 square metres, which plots are all bounded with property of the Government of Malta and are shown edged in red on plans P.D. No. 240_2001, P.D. No. 240_2001_1 and P.D. No.
240_2001_2 respectively, as appearing in the attached Schedule.
(ii) Four divided portions of the same land at Xewkija limits of Ta’ Lambert, namely plot 1 of area of circa 21,524 square metres and is bounded from the West, South and North-east by a public road, plot 2 of area of circa 19,494 square metres and is bounded from the North, North-west and South-west by a public road, plot

3 of area of circa 1,093 square metres and is bounded from the

North, South-east and South-west by a public road and plot 4 of area of circa 26,482 square metres and is bounded from the North- west, East and North-east by a public road, which plots are shown edged in red on plan P.D.33_2003_A and indicated as plots one (1) to three (3) respectively, as appearing in the attached Schedule.
(iii) Nine divided portions of the same land at Zurrieq, limits of Tal-Gibjun, namely plot 1 of area of circa 35,410 square metres and is bounded from the South-east, North-east and South-west with a public road; plot 2 of area of circa 11,417 square metres and is bounded from the North-west, South and West by a public road; plot 3 of area of circa 14,375 square metres and is bounded from the North-west, South and East by a public road; plot 4 of area of circa 137 square metres and is bounded from the South and South- west by a public road and from the North-east by property of the Housing Authority; plot 5 of area of circa 1,958 square metres and is bounded from the North and South by a public road and from the West by property of the Housing Authority; plot 6 of area of circa 1,828 square metres and is bounded from the North-west, North-east and South by a public road; plot 7 of area of circa 9,261 square metres and is bounded from the North and East by a public road and from the West by property of the Government; plot 8 of area of circa 13,061 square metres and is bounded from the North and West by a public road and from the East by property of the Government; and plot 9 of area of circa 2,165 square metres and is bounded from the North and East by a public road and from the South by property of the Government, which plots are shown edged in red on plan P.D. 5_2003_A and indicated as plots one (1) to nine (9) respectively, as appearing in the attached Schedule.
(iv) Three divided portions of the same land at Kalkara, limits of Tal-Kapuccini, namely plot 1 of the area of circa 16,020 square metres and is bounded from the South-west by a public road and from the South-east and North-east by the property of uncertain owners, plot 2 of the area of circa 22,201 square metres and is bounded from the South-east by property of uncertain owners, from the South-west by property of the Government and from the North-west by a public road, and plot 3 of the area of circa 644 square metres and is bounded from the North-east, South and South West by property of uncertain owners, which plots are shown edged in red on plan P.D.30_2003_A and indicated as plots
one (1) to three (3) respectively, as appearing in the attached
Schedule.
(v) Portion of land at Swieqi limits of Tal-Madliena, namely plot 1 of area of circa 8,691 square metres and is bounded from the North-west, North and North-east by property of the Government, which plot is shown edged in red on plan P.D.
9_2003_A, as appearing in the attached Schedule.
(vi) Portion of land at Ghaxaq limits of Tal-Wilga, namely plot 1 of area of circa 89,313 square metres and is bounded from the North, East and West by property of the Government, which plot is shown edged in red on plan P.D.10_2003_A and indicated as plot one (1), as appearing in the attached Schedule.
(vii) Two divided portions of the same land at Dingli, namely plot 1 of the area of circa 27,236 square metres and is bounded from the North-west by Turetta Street, from the South-east by a public road and from the North-east by part of a public passage and plot 2 of area of circa 18,379 square metres and is bounded from the North-east, North-west and South-west by a public road, which plots are shown edged in red on plans P.D.58_2002 and identified on survey sheet P.D.58_2002_A and indicated as plots one (1) and two (2) respectively, as appearing in the attached Schedule.
(viii) Two divided portions of the same land at Mosta, limits of Tal-Blata l-G[olja, namely plot 1 of the area of circa 5,421 square metres and is bounded from the North, East and South by private property and plot 2 of the area of circa 20,079 square metres and is bounded from the North by Independence Avenue, from the West by Antonio Miruzzi Street and from the East by private property, which plots are shown edged in blue on plan P.D.167_89_5 and indicated as plots one (1) and two (2) respectively, as appearing in the attached Schedule.
(ix) Two divided portions of the same land at St Paul’s Bay limits of Tax-Xemxija, namely plot 1 of area of circa 3,457 square metres and is bounded from the South-east, South-west and North- east by property of B.P. (Malta) Ltd; and plot 2 of area of circa

property of Ian Zammit and from the North-East and East by property of B.P. (Malta) Ltd, which plots are shown edged in red on plan P.D. 6_2003_A and indicated as plots one (1) and two (2) respectively, as appearing in the attached Schedule.
