TELECOMMUNICATIONS (REGULATION) ACT (CAP. 399)Publication of a Directive by theMalta Communications Authority

THE Malta Communications Authority is hereby publishing the following Directive for the purposes of the Telecommunications (Regulation) Act and of the Telecommunications (Leased Lines) Regulations, 2003.

The Malta Communications Authority, in exercise of the powers conferred by regulation 3 of the Telecommunications (Leased Lines) Regulations, 2003, and after having established that Maltacom p.l.c. has a dominant market position in the relevant leased lines market, hereby requires Maltacom p.l.c. to provide to any point in Malta the minimum set of leased lines with harmonised technical characteristics as specified in the First Schedule to the said regulations.
