Veterinary Services Act (Act Xxiii Of 2001) Collection Of Data Concerning Competitions For Equidae Regulations, 2003 (L.N. 307 Of 2003 )

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 34(e) of the Veterinary Services Act, the Minister for Rural Affairs and the Environment has made the following regulations:-

Competitions for Equidae Regulations, 2003.
(2) The scope of these regulations is to implement the provisions found under European Commission Decision 92/216/EEC on the collection of data concerning competitions for equidae as referred to in Article 4 (2) of Council Directive
90/428/EEC.

(a) competitions as referred to in the first indent of article 4 (2) of European Union Council Directive 90/428/EEC organised in the territory of Malta,
(b) the criteria for the distribution of funds provided for in the third subparagraph of the second indent of the said article 4 (2).
(2) The competent authority of Malta shall communicate to the European Commission the name and address of the co-ordinating authority appointed in accordance with sub-regulation (1) hereof.
