THE TRIAL CHAMBER

ORDER TO PERMIT PHOTOGRAPHY IN COURTROOM

TRIAL CHAMBER I (“The Chamber”) of the Special Court for Sierra Leone (“the Special Court”) composed of Justice Benjamin Mutanga Itoe, Presiding Judge, Justice Bankole Thompson and Justice Pierre Boutet;

HAVING CONSIDERED the Request for permission for press photographer, Mr. Sven Torfinn, a representative for de Volkskrant to enter the Court Room in order to photograph the proceedings on the 14h of February, 2005;

PURSUANT TO Rule 81 (D) of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the Special Court for Sierra Leone;

ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:

1. That Mr. Sven Torfinn, a representative for de Volkskrant is authorised to be present in the Court Room on the 14h of February 2005.
2. Unless specifically authorised, Mr. Sven Torfinn may not, under any circumstances, film any of the witnesses before the Court or be present in the Court Room during closed sessions, and must comply with all orders of the Court regarding protective measures for witnesses.
