ORDER FOR EXPEDITED FILING

TRIAL CHAMBER I (“Trial Chamber I”) of the Special Court for Sierra Leone (“Special Court”) composed of Hon. Justice Pierre Boutet, Presiding Judge, Hon. Justice Bankole Thompson and Hon. Justice Benjamin Mutanga Itoe;

HAVING RECEIVED the Urgent Prosecution Motion for Relief to File a Final Brief Not Exceeding 600 Pages filed by the Office of the Prosecutor (“Prosecution”) on the 18th of July 2008 (“Application”);

NOTING the Order for Expedited Filing issued by the Chamber on the 16th of July 2008 concerning a similar application filed by the Defence for the Accused Issa Hassan Sesay;

CONSIDERING that the fair and expeditious consideration of the Application requires the imposition of an expedited timetable for the filing of a response and a reply;

PURSUANT TO Rules 7 and 54 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the Special Court;

HEREBY ORDERS as follows:

1. Any Response to the Application by the Parties shall be filed no later than Monday, the 21st of July 2008 at 4:00 p.m.; and
2. Any Reply by the Prosecution shall be filed no later than Tuesday, the 22nd of July 2008 at 4:00 p.m.
