Appellant to file written submissions

330.
(1) Upon receiving notice under section 329, the appellant shall, within such period as is prescribed by rules of court, lodge in the Supreme Court submissions in writing in support of his appeal together with proof of service of a copy of such written submissions on each respondent or registered attorney:
(2) Where leave to appeal has been granted, the application for such leave shall be deemed to be the written submissions of the appellant and a copy there of shall be forthwith served by the Registrar on catch respondent or registered attorney.
(3) If the appellant fails or neglects without reasonable cause to lodge his written submissions with in the prescribed period and in the prescribed manner, the appeal shall be deemed to have abated.
