| 56. where any fishing net or other fishing gear or equipment the use of which, in any specified part of Sri Lanka Waters is prohibited by any regulations made under this Act is found in the possession of any regulation made under this Act is found in the possession of any person within the distance of half a mile from such waters, then for the purpose of any prosecution for a contravention of the regulation that person shall be presumed until the contrary is proved to have used such net or other setting gear of equipment in such Waters. |
