Issue of Ceylon Load Line Certificate

176
(1) Where a ship not registered in Ceylon has been surveyed and marked in accordance with the Load Line Regulations, then, on the application of the owner of the ship a Ceylon Load Line Certificate shall be issued to him by the Director or by a person so authorized by the Director.
(2) Any certificate issued under this section in respect of a ship to which section 173 applies shall be valid only so long as the ship is not plying on international voyages, and shall be cancelled by the Minister if he has reason to believe that the ship is plying on international voyages.
