Sri Lanka Institute Of Co-operative Management Act (No. 37 of 1983) - Sect 16

Chairman of the Board

16.
(1) The Minister shall appoint one of the members to be the Chairman of the Board.
(2) The term of office of the Chairman of the Board shall be three years:
(3) If the Chairman is, by reason of illness or other in firmity or absence from Sri Lanka, temporarily unable to perform the duties of his office, the Minister may appoint one of the members to act in his place.
